Hi, my name is Ana... well, not really, but no one knows how to say Anahid. I was born in Mexico City and studied Communications. I quickly realized I had a passion for photography and my dream became to have a darkroom in my house. While I never got my darkroom, my home office has changed into a Photoshop editing suite, and I could not be happier. I've traveled the world working on cruise ships and had the opportunity to photograph every new adventure. 

Along my travels I met my husband and we decided to move to the States to start our lives together. After the birth of my daughter I understood my passion was more than just a hobby and wanted to dedicate myself to capturing the innocence and bold emotions of children. I find using natural light helps me enter the world of my subject, too many artificial lights distract and there is beauty in simplicity. Children express themselves honestly and without hesitation. For this reason child photography is challenging and extremely rewarding at the same time... and I love it!
